Important Notice
Various plating processes do not completely prevent metal allergies. Allergies may occur due to alloys contained in the plating.
Please use water and neutral detergent for cleaning. Avoid using organic solvents, acidic or alkaline detergents.
Please avoid scrubbing the mouthpiece with a hard brush, as this may cause the plating to peel off. Please handle with care using a cotton swab or soft tissue paper.
We have created samples of mouthpieces that are generally available in the market , and have confirmed that they do not peel off in a short period of time under normal use, but please note that the above test results may not necessarily apply depending on the material and condition. (Samples are created for trumpet, trombone, French horn, and tuba mouthpieces.)
Even if you order without polishing, we will perform light polishing to remove the surface oxide/sulfide film and improve the adhesion of the plating. However, since only the minimum amount of polishing will be performed, scratches will not disappear. If there are uneven surfaces or the plating has already peeled off, we recommend ordering with polishing (if polishing is performed, scratches and unevenness will be smoothed out as much as possible, but please note that not all of them will disappear).
We cannot offer refunds in the case of defects in plating due to various coatings or other treatments , or defects caused by accidents or malfunctions during processing. We also cannot offer refunds if the item we have received is damaged or becomes unusable. We do not accept requests for removal of plating.
During processing, a jig is attached to the backbore to fix the mouthpiece . The area in contact with the jig will not be plated. There is also a possibility that slight roughness may occur. Thank you for your understanding.
All shipping charges will be borne by the customer unless they are not covered by UPMAKE's services.
Processing will be done after payment is confirmed. Please note that if payment cannot be confirmed after shipping, we will not be able to deliver the processed product .
There may be small scratches that occur during processing.
Please be sure to use a traceable and insured service (such as Takkyubin Compact). UPMAKE cannot provide compensation for any accidents during transportation. Please be sure to keep the shipping number with you .
By making a request, you are deemed to have understood and agreed to all of the above precautions .
